A Staff Attorney is needed to join a growing eDiscovery practice. This eDiscovery practice is national in scope providing advice, counsel and representation to many of the nation’s largest companies. In order to best serve its clients, the firm has chosen to dedicate an entire practice area to eDiscovery. Staff Attorney candidates should have excellent academic credentials, analytical skills, and verbal and written communication skills. Litigation experience and formal or informal IT / Computer Science experience and/or education strongly desired. Potential candidates should also have a solid working knowledge of both federal and state rules of civil procedure pertaining to eDiscovery as well as current eDiscovery case law, and be competent with common litigation support and eDiscovery software tools. Experience managing discovery or large document reviews is also a plus. The candidate should have knowledge of and interest in the federal and state securities laws, including the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, and general corporate securities procedures and processes (i.e., underwriting and offering processes and SEC disclosure requirements).
